Der VEGABAR 83 ist ein Druckmessumformer zur Druckmessung von Gasen, Dämpfen und Flüssigkeiten in allen Industriebereichen. Der VEGABAR 83 bietet besondere Vorteile bei Applikationen mit hohen Drücken. Das einfache Zusammenschalten von Sensoren der VEGABAR Serie 80 als elektronischer Differenzdruck eröffnet neue Möglichkeiten zur Messung von Differenzdrücken.

Das Druckmessgerät VEGABAR 83 eignet sich bestens für Füllstand- und Druckmessungen von Flüssigkeiten und viskosen Füllgütern mit hohem Prozessdruck. Dank der metallischen Messzelle liefert er eine exzellente Messgenauigkeit, auch unter Vakuum. 

Das Druckmessgerät ist erste Wahl für die Prozessdruck- oder Füllstandmessung in Prozessen mit Hochdruck, wie z. B. zur

  • Steuerdruckmessung von Hydraulikpumpen 
  • Förderdruckmessung von Produktleitungen 
  • Füllstandmessung von Bitumen in einer Asphaltmischanlage 
  • Füllstandmessung in Lagertanks, z. B für Milch in Molkereien

This is a high-tech instrument requiring the strict observance of standard regulations and guidelines. The user must take note of the safety instructions in this operating instructions manual, the country-specific installation standards as well as all prevailing safety regulations and accident prevention rules. The instrument must only be operated in a technically flawless and reliable condition. The operator is responsible for trouble-free operation of the instrument. During the entire duration of use, the user is obliged to determine the compliance of the necessary occupational safety measures with the current valid rules and regulations and also take note of new regulations.

Protect your instrument against moisture ingress through the following measures:

• Use the recommended cable (see chapter "Connecting to power supply" of the operating instructions)

• Tighten the cable gland • When mounting horizontally, turn the housing so that the cable gland points downward

• Loop the connection cable downward in front of the cable gland

This applies mainly to outdoor installations, in areas where humidity is expected (e.g. through cleaning processes) and on cooled or heated vessels.
